Many cosmetic companies sell you on the promise that when you look good on the outside, you’ll feel beautiful on the inside, giving you the confidence to achieve great things. This reliance on store bought beauty cripples. It takes your self-belief away, and puts it into a product.

True confidence is founded on ability, effort and a track record. It shouldn’t have to be something that needs to be replenished at the mall.

Sadly, there is a truth that we are presented with: the world favors those who are deemed better looking. Yes it’s unfair, but that’s the present reality. But perhaps it’s time to change that. To take a stand so this trend no longer perpetuates itself. Perhaps it’s time to do away with the disguises, and just be YOU.
