Running Is Freedom. Break Free.

This heartwarming video tells a story of an old marathon runner living in a retirement home. In the clip, they show him slapping on his old pair of Adidas, and running within the home, to relive his glory days. His actions are frowned upon, and each time he is restrained by the staff at the facility. At some point, to stop him from running, they even confiscate his shoes. But it doesn’t end there. The story takes an uplifting turn, and will either moisten your eyes, or make you burst out the front door to go for a run.
This video was produced by Eugen Merher, a 26-year-old student at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. He had tried to get in touch with Adidas to see if they would like to use it as a commercial, but he did not hear back from them.
